After the development of effective COVID-19 vaccines, several countries pre-ordered millions of doses to be delivered to their country by the start of 2021. Among those countries, Germany was also the one. According to the report by Robert Koch Institute in Germany, nearly 265,000 people in the country have received the jab, out of which 114,000 people are the residents of the nursing homes.
Unfortunately, the process of administering the vaccines is below par in the country; moreover, the ordered number of vaccines is not also enough. Due to these reasons, the German government and EU Commission are being criticized for the poor handling of the matter.
In contrast, other countries that ordered the doses of vaccines are making much faster moves. For example, Israel has successfully vaccinated about 13% of its entire population against the deadly virus.
