Sometimes when you are bored and open up Netflix to watch anything interesting, you get pretty confused among the vast choices the platform offers. From anime to comedy, and horror to action, there is a huge list of binge-worthy movies and web series on Netflix which makes it super hard to pick up a show or movie for yourself. However, this won’t be an issue anymore since the company has rolled out a new feature of “Shuffle Play” allowing the users to roll the dice and watch whatever the dice stops on.
According to different sources, Netflix has been testing out this feature for a long time, i.e., last Summer, in fact even earlier with Android devices. Greg Peters, the chief product officer and COO confirmed the release of Shuffle option in the first half of 2021. Peter also said that the company observed that several people opened the application but didn’t watch anything because they were too baffled to choose.
As noticed in the testing, the option for “Shuffle Play” is present on the profile screen. If you don’t like the recommendation of Shuffle Play, you can tap on another option “Play Something Else”.
Interesting new feature @netflix ... but what kind of insane person just says, “yolo, let’s spin the Netflix wheel of fortune” pic.twitter.com/6WDJrmd7pG
