Google Discover is a product of Google that allows users to
search for a range of articles and informative videos based on their interests.
It provides a feed to users where topics keep changing based on users’
preferences and they can even customize the feed to their liking.
The content displayed on Google Discover, however, lasts
only for a limited amount of time. The time duration was not known until
recently, when it was discovered that that different contents have different lasting
durations.
It was found that 6% of the stories last for an hour and 61%
of them stay in between 1 to 24 hours. There is also content that lasts for
days. For instance, 17% of articles were found to last between 1 to 2 days and
7% around 3 to 4 days, while others last for even more than 3 days.
Valentin Pletzer, who shared this useful data, also
presented graphical images to show the statistics. Apparently, Google Discover
shows different content for different people for different time durations according
to their range of interests.
