The campaign by Trump to take possession of the American land situated on the southern border has led many landowners to submit to the lawsuits which have been filed against them. To build the President’s border wall, Trump ordered to file lawsuits against the landowners between the years 2017 and 2020. So far, the government has managed to claim 135 tracts, and according to the Government reports, there are still 991 tracts on the way.
To compensate for the loss, the government will be providing an amount between $1440 and $870,261 per acre to the landowners for their seized properties. The gravity of this campaign can be observed by the fact that in case the landowner refuses the seize offer of the government, he will straight up be taken into account and sent to the court to submit to the pledge made by Trump.
