Pollution is destroying our environment quite literally. With pollution, it doesn’t necessarily means the garbage or cutting down trees but there are also other types of pollutions such as noise pollution. In this 21st century, which is being dubbed as the digital era, the hustle and bustle is of the common accord. The big cities are getting bigger as more people look move in them for better opportunities and an even better lifestyle but what is it doing to our environment?


A person, who comes into a metropolis city from a suburban area, is mystified and bamboozled by the high-rising skyscrapers, the bustling city and a road full of opportunities, dreams and living large. They may think that their fate is in their hands and that’s because of a good reason – city life plays a massive role in nurturing ambitions and brings opportunities.


However, this lust for urban living looking for a suitable lifestyle is taking its toll on the society. As people gather up in the city, more noise and air pollution are imminent. There are many factors that contribute to the damage being done to the environment with noise pollution. Noise pollution plays a big role in the public health department.


Currently, about 5 percent of world’s population suffers from disabling hear loss and by 2050, this number is expected to double up with 10 percent which counts about 900 million people of the world.
