roof will not only tone down the temperatures by a good amount but it will also
keep your attic cool and all the stuff in it.
A dark colored roof is the worse for a hot day. Dark colors
absorb the heat in themselves and throw the heat inside the building. On a hot,
bright and sunny day, a dark colored roof can reach up to temperature of over
170 Fahrenheit. Keeping it light with the right materials is the way to go
about if you living in a state where the heat becomes unbearable like Arizona
or Texas.
