Festival holidays are the only times when families and friends plan to visit their loved ones overseas. If we talk about America specifically, every year, millions of people come to the USA in order to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Since we are stuck in the cursed year, Covid-19 has ruined all the plans, and people who loved to travel are stuck in their homes. But, to our surprise, Thanksgiving travel has not been impacted as badly as we expected it to be.
Americans seem to be more comfortable with traveling in their personal cars during the pandemic, which is somewhat a safe mode of travel. The percentage for car travel this year is predicted to reduce by as low as 4.3%.
No matter how many precautions you take, there is always a risk of transmitting the deadly Coronavirus amongst your family and friends at a party or gathering. Despite the pandemic, Americans are super excited to celebrate the festival with their short/medium-distance relatives. The health officials advise the people to stay very careful and follow all the SOPs and maintain social distancing during the event. Furthermore, they also suggest the people to keep their gatherings as small as possible.
