Back in the days, Yahoo used to be a popular social platform that had a feature of Yahoo Groups that was widely and regularly used by internet users. Yahoo Groups was an accessible means of engaging the internet.
Yahoo, however, saw a gradual decline in its popularity over the years after it was acquired by Verizon and many of the platform’s cherished features and services started to go away. Among the latest features that are leaving the platform is Yahoo Group.
Yahoo Groups will be officially and permanently removed from Yahoo on the 15th of December. The feature has been around for almost two decades, and is now putting an end to users’ oldest memories of an internet hangout place.
