In light of recent concerns highlighted by the users of one of the most popular and successful sites, the team of Twitter has decided to put a considerable amount of focus into the matter. Twitter is one of the very first platforms to operate its tasks in the most advanced fashion of automation. Twitter usually generates automated Tweet previews, which may or may not, according to the given picture, crop the frames to make it more adjustable. However, the automated cropping did not sit quite rightly with the users of Twitter recently, which eventually led the team of Twitter to reconsider the cropping algorithms to suppress the given heat of the situation.
Geez...any guesses why @Twitter defaulted to show only the right side of the picture on mobile? pic.twitter.com/UYL7N3XG9k

It is also reported that Twitter has been called out on the public social platform for being biased and hindering the black color from being visible at all. The Ph. D. student pointed out the algorithm of Twitter for removing the black part of the Tweet preview while striking out the white parts. These features were only assumed to be bugs until the Twitter itself accepted to automated cropping of the Twitter preview.
The recent study by Twitter put focuses on the potential damage a cropped photo has the capability to bring. However, the algorithm utterly works on saliency, rejecting any claims for prejudice or biases. But to put this matter at ease, the team of Twitter has given the power of cropping Tweet previews in the hands of users so that diversity can be achieved even if it is something as minuscule as a preview.
The foremost priority of Twitter is to ensure an unbiased and fairly comfortable platform for the account holders to achieve a stable and healthy environment across the borders. Twitter is expected to bring more useful tools to the table for its users and their requirements.
