During the pandemic, most of the employees have been forced
to work from their homes. Since that, there have been massive increase in the
remote working and networking with each other. Before the pandemic, there was little
awareness among the people in managing, handling and the pros of remote working
but that has now become a new norm among people.
While we all social distanced ourselves from each other,
internet was the only thing that connected us with one another. Businesses ran
smoothly and people connected with each other to ask about their health. The connectivity
and this network could has made it possible for us to endure the pandemic in a
safe manner.
People are now enjoying working from home as 54 percent of
Americans suggested that they would continue to work remotely even after the
pandemic. It is of no doubt that productivity and overall mood has been boosted
with the work from home fiasco. Networking has made it possible to connect to
your team and keep your tasks going.
Social media, another major source of networking, plays a
big role in the marketing and recruiting. A trend of recruiting via social
platforms is due to the networking. 80 percent of employers prefer finding
candidates through social media. LinkedIn is a great example as it was the third
most used candidate outreach channel in 2019 just behind email and phone or
text.
