Outlook users started facing difficulties in accessing their accounts, and the page kept failing to reload for about four hours. The problem started somewhere around 2 A.M. ET and was confirmed by Microsoft. The company also confirmed that the issue was bothering users all around the globe.
According to Microsoft, they recently made a few changes in the configuration which are suspected to be the culprits. As a solution, tech giant backslid the update and monitored the situation closely for recovery.
This is the second outage within a single week. First one was on Monday when Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams and a few more services went down for several hours. The company has now clearly explained the causes of issues which has left the users extremely curious that what exactly caused such major outages in less than a week.
However, the services have been restored, and the majority of the users are now able to access their accounts. Microsoft confirmed the restoration as well.
