The live streaming industry has racked up good numbers in 2020, mostly due to the lockdown. Last quarter, audience spent over 7.71 billion hours watching live streams. This quarter, the number is slightly lower than previous quarter at 7.46 billion hours. In this quarter, Facebook Gaming surpassed the billion hours watch time for the first time. YouTube Gaming saw significant growth this time with an increase in watch time of 156 million hours from the last quarter. As for Twitch, it now represents around 91.1 percent of market share for hours streamed. This is 14.5 percent increase from last quarter.
