Every single day, it's determined that on average, 29 people across the United States lose their lives as a result of car crashes that involve drunk drivers. Because of it, that means that there's a death every 50 minutes! Also, it's been estimated that 16% of the car crashes in the United States involve either drugs or alcohol.
This infographic from Smart Advocate incorporates data from the County Health Rankings for every county across the country (2014-2018), and ranks them based on their total number of alcohol-impaired driving fatalities.
