The global pandemic has altered our lives in so many ways. The lockdown situation has resulted in offices and schools shutting down in various countries across the globe, almost all of them. As a consequence of this lockdown, many companies have asked their employees to work from home. Similarly, schools have arranged online classes to make sure students don't have to deal with educational loss.

For those schools who couldn't arrange online classes, parents have had to spend time homeschooling their children. Homeschooling isn't as easy it sounds. First of all, keeping the child interested is actually the main challenge. Since the environment is at home, it is easier for a child to get distracted. However, this can also mean that you get to spend more time with your child. So that's the positivity that can come out of it.

Another challenge for parents out there is screen time. This goes for students who are being home-schooled, as well as for students who are taking online classes while being confined to their homes. In both cases, excessive screen-time can change the way children's minds work. Learning can be effective and made available online, but maintaining balance is key.
