The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economy of the world in various ways. GDP of several companies are damaged in a way that it will take a lot of time to recover the loses. Billions of people have rendered jobless due to extremely prolonged lockdowns. Many companies have kept their employees to work remotely forever.
The infographic below shows a complete picture of GDPs by country (2019) in which, the United States of America is still the world’s largest economy with a gross domestic product of $21.43T or 24.42%. From 2018 to 2019, China’s economy grew by $14.34, and the country is pretty close to catching up with that of the US.The infographic is segregated by color-coding in order to make the explanation easier. The most apparent and massive economy compared to any other economy of the world visualized in the figure below is of the US colored in pink, followed by China and Japan in blue and Germany in green.
