Apple announced during the launch of Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE in its September event ''Time Flies'' that it not going to be shipping USB power adapters with the new Apple Watch devices anymore. The move is actually Apple's attempt to reduce its environmental impact with its products.
Without the USB power adapter, customers of the new Apple Watch won't have access to the pluggable device, but of course it will be replaced by a wireless device to recharge the Watch.
It is reported that the removing of USB power adapter is not a move that Apple is making in relation to the new Apple Watch only, but the company will likely be doing the same for its upcoming iPhones as well.
There it is: Apple removing USB power adapters from Apple Watch. Next month: iPhone.

Since the new iPhones haven't been announced by Apple yet, the company is expected to hold a separate live stream event later this month or next month to announce its upcoming iPhones. It is likely that Apple would make a similar announcement - replacing the USB power adapters for iPhones with a wireless device.
