WhatsApp has been constantly updating its app, adding new features to it time and again. It is now reportedly working on updating its desktop version as well. The features that are expected to make an appearance on WhatsApp Web include a new loading screen, video call, and voice call.
It is reported that WhatsApp is currently experimenting with video and voice call options for its web version. It is, therefore, expected that users will soon be able to make calls via WhatsApp Web. The option of video conferencing is likely to be introduced for WhatsApp's desktop version too.
WhatsApp is a widely used messaging app across the globe, with millions of users that have downloaded it. In order to improve user experience, the company regularly updates the app. Ever since the pandemic lockdowns, a lot of people have been turning to the option of video calls, so WhatsApp seems to be planning on bringing the feature to its desktop version as well.
WhatsApp is also working on another feature that will enable users to use their account on multiple sites at a time.
Since the features are still under testing, it is not certain when they will be officially rolled out.
