Semiconductors are a useful material in the electronic business
industry with their main purpose being the manufacturing of ICs or Integrated
Circuits. The semiconductor supply chains involve a lot of procedures that are
required for a functional and efficient semiconductor.
A semiconductor supply chain goes through a lot of stages for
a functional system chain. It is started from the system companies, then it
travels through EMS, IC Design, IC Manufacturing, IC Assembly Test, end consumers
and then circles back around to the system companies again.
There four principles for supply chain management that any
business student would know. They are; code compliance, risk assessment, audit
participation, and continuous improvement. Other than that semiconductor supply
chains need to make the supply chain sustainable using different techniques and
many factors coming into play such as the economy and social practices.
Take a look at the following information for more about
semiconductor supply chains.
