It really feels so frustrating when you don’t have any sort
of technology such as your smartphone, internet or a gadget of some sort. It almost
feels like the world is empty and you have nothing to do. if you think about
it, fifteen years ago, technology didn’t have this sort of impact on our daily
lives at all. People would be chilling in their own leisure keeping themselves
busy without having their eyes constantly on a screen.
It was a very different world before. The technology wasn’t that
advanced, many things weren’t invented yet but as time passed, we saw technology
slowly seeping in our daily lives. When Facebook launched in 2005, we weren’t all
that familiar with its infrastructure but as the tech giants grew, they changed
the digital landscape for good.
Technology is such a trend now that Apple passed the $2
trillion valuation mark last week which was previously held by a Saudi oil giant
Aramco in December 2019. This shows how much technology is taking over and how
much it will continue to grow in the coming years.
If you compare the world fifteen years ago to the world of
today, you will see massive and significant changes that happened while we were
unaware of it. The infographic below shows the few biggest markets in the world
and how they looked like fifteen years ago.
