Consumer Electronics tops the list
Surpassing all the other products, consumer electronics have had the most increase in its sales from the year 2017. Because of its speedy progress in the e-commerce business, its sales are expected to gain an increase of 14% by the year 2030.
Similarly, the next items on the list include Household appliances, Apparel and Beauty, and personal care with the expected rise of 12%, 10%, and 6% in sales after ten years respectively.
Why is Food the ultimate product in the sales list?
The item on the chart that produces the least share of sales is found to be Food with an estimated increase of about 2%. As people prefer buying fresh food from the grocery stores directly; therefore, e-commerce stores can accommodate a smaller number of customers for the online purchase of food. This category, however, still need more sales figures to experience a greater e-commerce market.
