It goes without saying that 2020 has been the year in which many spheres of life have been altered because of COVID-19. The global pandemic has stirred the living conditions of many across the globe, causing chaos and little hope for people whose living has been affected beyond comprehension.
Economies of many countries, big or small, have collapsed. Many people have lost their jobs and many sectors simply cannot implement the 'work from home' strategy as it doesn't suit them. Among these countries, the United States has been one of the most affected by the pandemic. Its super-economy has been effected in the long run due to the increase in the number of cases in almost every state.
To combat this situation, the United States government has set up the CARES Act to provide relief to the chaos caused by the COVID-19. Almost as much as 2 trillion dollars have been designated to this act. A major portion of this CARES Act deals with issues related to higher education. These are in the form of direct contributions to higher education institutes, to students who are looking forward to financial assistance. To know more about how this act is helping Americans out in these testing times, have a look at the following infographic.
