One wouldn’t think that a necessity such as eye glasses
would cost an arm and a leg, but one also cannot deny the fact that they will
spend a lot of money in their lifetime on their eyewear.
Generally, eyewear is not very expensive at first, but if
you combine the overall average money that a person will spend in a lifetime,
it will sum up to an exponential amount. Just in 2019, people spent over $29.4
billion in the United States alone. Almost 25% of children need eyeglasses by the
age of 5 and kids usually outgrow or destroy, 2 pairs of glasses a year.
