The next update for Wear OS is likely to be released somewhere this fall. However, it will not be as ostentatious as the upcoming version of Android i.e., 11. The news proves that Google is still working on its wearables. The Wear OS's new updates will bring along various impressive updates and features such as new weather app, speed enhancement, and faster yet easier pairing.
As per Google, the most prominent change is promised to be in the CPU improvements, which will enhance the startup speed of applications by 20 percent. Google will also add support for soon-to-be-launched Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 and 4100 Plus chipsets, which will enhance the overall performances of the Wear OS devices.
Several updated UI programs will also be available to improve the controls in order to manage various watch modes intuitively. However, the new weather app is expected to be launched on Wear OS later this year, which is designed to give precise yet accurate hourly forecasts and important weather alerts.
