Google made an announcement on Monday regarding Android's real-time captions feature, Live Caption, which will now be able to work with voice and video calls. Previously, this feature only worked with media on the phone, such as a YouTube video, but with the current update, Live Caption will now let users have a phone call and get live captions of what people on the call are saying.
According to Google, the feature will be launching to the Pixel 2, 3, 3A, and 4. In addition to that, the company also announced that the new version of Google Assistant that debuted with Pixel 4 will now be available in four new languages: German, French, Italian, and Spanish. The languages will be available soon on a Google Assistant Support page and more languages will also be added in the near future.
Furthermore, Google also introduced its new midrange phone, the Pixel 4A which is worth $349. In addition to the Pixel 4A, the company revealed it will be launching two new phones later this year: the Pixel 4A 5G and the Pixel 5 which will be Google's next flagship phone. The Pixel 4A will be a version of 4A with 5G technology.
