Electric cars are becoming more and more common in America.
Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, is one of the dominating company that provide electric
powered cars. Tesla Model X is considered as one of the best Tesla cars and Tesla
Model 3 is was the best-selling electric vehicle in the first six months of
this year. This vehicle did even better last year, selling more than 69,000
units in 2019.
However, Tesla is not the only company that provide electric
cars in the US that have seen a decline in sales, Nissan Leaf’s sales were also
halved compared to the last year. This was because of the economic decline that
was brought by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. The sales of electric vehicles
were cut down significantly.
However, a few companies are doing quite well considering
the situation. One of those vehicles is the Audi e-tron which sold up to
thousand more units in the first half of 2020. Other vehicles such as Chevy Bolt,
BMW i3, Tesla Model Y are all part of the same bandwagon.
