We often come to here of the richest men in the world. There are many official lists that go on telling us about them, such as the Forbes' World Billionaires List. In their latest list, over 2,000 rich people have been featured. While not all of them are men, but upon close analysis, we get to see that most of them are.
With all the talk on gender equality and women getting their equal share in the spotlight, it's no harm in generating a women-only list of the wealthiest individuals across the globe. These women belong to a vast array of industries, ranging from fashion and retail to hardcore technological organisations.
A few of these women are also famous because of what they have inherited as member of a specific family, for example, Walmart is inherited by Alice and Christy Walton. Another prominent example is of MacKenzie Bezos, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. She makes it to the list as a result of the divorce, through which she has acclaimed 4% of Amazon's stake.
