Telegram is one of the finest yet a secure messaging app that has millions of users. While the application is limited to App Store only, Telegram says that Apple should allow the users to download the application other than the App store only. Also, Apple’s 30% commission has triggered Telegram. The commission is referred as ‘colossal’ by Telegram.
The European Union is already dealing with two complaints in the same regard by Spotify and Rakuten. Now three big names are complaining about the App store’s excessive commission and inability to let the users download the applications from other sources.
These arguments are still ongoing, and most of them have the same thing to say, i.e., Apple, because of being extremely popular and has lots of money will weight heavier in the European Union. However, Apple said that these complaints are totally ‘baseless’ and coming from the companies that want to make maximum profit by riding free.
