More than half the population on this earth falls into the middle-class category, and many countries are persistent in changing that. Asia, however, is the only continent that is entertaining the rapid growth of middle-class members. The attached infographic explains the growth of middle-class members in Asia as a result of the increasing population. Asia is considered to have the greatest number of middle-class residents than any other continent. As per statistics, this class is seen to be thriving and making its way to the top. Unlike the US, middle-class Asians are rapidly making considerable changes to the statistics by increasing their size. While the US and Europe are still struggling to get their yearly subscriptions up, Asia is already way ahead of them. According to the research, the daily income of a middle class is expected to be around $10 and $100.
The US will lose its share to Asia
It is also estimated that by 2030, the number of Asian people belonging to the middle class will increase to 3.5 billion, which is a pretty substantial figure. Currently, the US holds the most middle-class subscriptions in the world, but considering the rapid growth of middle-class memberships in Asia, it is predicted that by 2030, the US will only hold 13% share in the charts.
