Google, being one of the topmost platforms in the world, has finally concluded the reopening of their offices. As per the report, an announcement has been made by the CEO of Alphabet, also known as the new parent of Google, directing the workers to work from home till July of 2021. Considering that the world has now stepped into the recovery phase, many companies have already scheduled the reopening dates for their offices, but as far as Google is concerned, that is a far-fetched idea.
Recent Announcement by Sundar Pichai
The Google spokesperson, Sundar Pichai, addressed the workers in a meeting to inform them about the extension of the remote work till next year in July. Previously, Google had already announced the reopening dates for a particular batch of workers to join their offices, but the decision later made by Pichai seemed more valid considering the current situation of the families of the said workers. Now Google has become the only company to extend its remote work for this long.
