Virtual jobs have become mainstream in the last couple of
months due to the coronavirus pandemic. Virtual jobs were around before the pandemic
but have only recently shown signs of increase as the term was searched by
30,000 people in the UK. This is a sign that people are desperate for a job or
internship be it from their homes.
Working from home has found its way into many of the English
houses and they are now enjoying working from their own space. The advantages
and flaws of working from home is a completely different story but, the
productivity has seen substantial increases. It is at a point where the
employees are not wishing for their workplace to open up again.
Not only that but having virtual internships and virtual job
fairs have also become a thing. Even in the virtual job market, there is a
significant difference in the payouts of different jobs. There are specific virtual
jobs and roles that can you can do to earn more money than others, comparatively.
Computer based jobs such as web developer, software
developer, programmers were on the top of the list of high paying virtual jobs
followed closely by consultants, lawyers and animators. Accountants were on the
high paying list as well with an average salary of £47,500. Then the medium paying
virtual jobs come which included teachers, translators/interpreters, auditors,
nurse, marketer, editor, etc. with an average annual salary of £32,000.
