Renewable energy is a big step taken by many
energy-producing companies. The idea of reusing the energy that has already
been used is a success and that it has the potential to reduce the costs at an
absolute minimum while yielding a sound output. The rise in solar and wind
power as renewable energy is one of the many achievements of the last decade.
As we move into a new decade, renewable energy accounts for 9.3% of total
energy production.
The wind and solar energy are a very reliable source for renewable energy. They also have the accolade of becoming the fastest-growing source of renewable energy. The annual growth rate of wind and solar power between 2015 and 2019 is 10.6% and 27.5%, respectively, which are huge numbers. In 2018, a total of 26,615 TW of electricity was produced globally, out of which 2,480 TW was produced from renewed energy.
Currently, Europe has the highest percentage of renewable
energy in the world, as 18.7% of its electricity is a byproduct of renewable
energy. On the contrary, the Middle Eastern countries do not produce any
renewable energy.

We are developing into an era where there will eventually be
99% renewable energy across the world as there is a breakthrough provided by
solar and wind energy in the field of renewables. See the following infographic
