Recently, Lego requested all its affiliates in a letter to stop promoting certain kits that included police minifigs, and even the White House.
There was some information regarding the decision that spread around, but the company soon clarified that this was just a temporary move.
A spokesperson clarified that they were not pulling back or stopping the sales of any of these products. They are still available on the official Lego website, and all stores that are still open amidst the pandemic.

“We have not removed any products from sale or stopped marketing any products. On Tuesday we paused sharing social media content on our channels. We informed our Affiliate Program members about this and suggested they do the same.” a spokesperson told TechCrunch.
The move began on the 2nd of June, which became known as #BlackoutTuesday on social media, a day to pause marketing and personal promotion to help elevate the black voices on the Internet stratosphere.We’ve seen incorrect reports saying we’ve removed some LEGO sets from sale.
