Meteorologists and climatologists have warned us about the
threats of climate change that the Earth would face in the upcoming years.
Everyone in the world is to be blamed equally for the drastic climate change as
all we do is contribute a lot to pollution, and do nothing to reduce our carbon
footprint.
What Carbon
Footprint actually is?Fore mostly, it is extremely important to understand what the term 'Carbon Footprint' means. It is basically a common word for the amount of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, fluorinated gases, etc. that we knowingly or unknowingly produce every day.
The major contribution to air pollution is through land
vehicles and airplanes. However, some things are impossible to avoid, such as
traveling through a plane. In such cases, the state's government should come
forward and take steps to establish economic systems that lower the carbon
footprint effects. Where the government fails miserably, you should take a
stand. There are several ways through which you can reduce the risks of climate
change. Try out daily and budget-friendly methods such as limiting your plastic
consumption by replacing it with paper/reusable bags and substituting plastic
water bottles with stainless steel ones. We stress on cutting down plastic use
as it is another chief contributor to air pollution. Even if it is a reusable
plastic, it emits greenhouse gases.
Our planet Earth is polluted to the extent more than we can ever imagine, and only we can save it from destroying completely. Educate yourself about climate change, greenhouse effects, alternatives for the products that are not eco-friendly, and how you can help save the world.
