Downloading speed is always one of the major enhancements whenever a new generation mobile internet service comes out. Even if we do not download huge amounts of data at once, for example, movies and games, we are always uploading and downloading data on a daily basis. Even the act of receiving and sending data on the Internet is dependent upon the speed of your connection. So the speed is even more important if you use a mobile internet connection more than wifi.
There have also been a lot of controversies revolving around 5G technology, wherein scientists have declared it harmful for health. So, a lot of countries are still unsupportive of 5G, deeming it unnecessary at the moment. Hoax or truth, only time will tell if 5G will get the complete green signal all across the globe.

The early months of 2019 marked South Korea as the first country to achieve the 5G status. After some time, the United States also adopted the 5G technology. It is important to note that 5G is still not available to everybody, this was even more true in the early stages of 2019. Moreover, it is also a very expensive service, compared to its predecessors. So price and availability remain the main issue.
