(IFTF)’ conducted research where they analyzed the key work skills essential
in the next 10 years along with the changes, we can predict to see in our
workforce.
According to their report, the six drivers of change in the workforce would be:

- The Rise of Smart Machines and Systems
- Computational World
- New Media Ecology
- Super structured Organizations
- Globally Connected World
Additionally, there are certain skills that will be most
apparent in the professional field, especially post-COVID-19, when working from
home and having the know-how of digital protocols became our survivors.
The skills include:
- Sensemaking
- Novel and adaptive thinking
- Cross-cultural competency
- Computational thinking
- New media literacy
- Transdisciplinarity
- Social intelligence
- Design mindset
- Cognitive load management
- Virtual collaboration
