According to the survey done by Comtemsa, almost three quarters of the sales opportunities decreased during the lockdown, and salespeople interviewed reported that over 65% of their deals were lost.
Interestingly however, when asked what their biggest career-related fear was regarding their roles in the future, no one voted for losing their job. In fact, the most-cited fear was the lack of budget for buyers.
Businesses are also finding it difficult to communicate and make deals and have business meetings virtually, which can take away the human element of the interactions.
