It might sound crazy, but it's true: did you know that every seven seconds, a worker gets injured on the job? That means that 510 workers per hour, or 12,600 workers a day are getting injured while on the job. That's 4.6 million people each year!

This infographic from Parker Waichman (YourLawyer.com) takes a look at several different industries, along with the most common injuries, both fatal and non-fatal. The industries covered on this infographic include mining, utilities, information, agriculture, fishing, financial services, jobs within the hospitality industry, and much more. To no surprise, retail trade is one of the industries featured on this, and the three most common causes of death are violence by either a person or an animal (top cause), followed by intentional injuries by another person, or even homicide!
