In February, Twitter shared a copy of its tips outlined by
its creative lead Joe Wadlington. With these easy tips, you can enhance your
tweet performance and presentation.
And recently Wadlington has shared more tips for killer tweets,
and although they seem easy they are worth keeping in mind to get the results you want.

Wadlington has noted that to get more attention and the response you are looking for, you should keep your tweets as simple as you can.
"So very excited to reveal our 2020 calendar! ????.
It includes the top events for sports, entertainment, conferences and more. Use
it to target these high engagement occasions!"
According to Wadlington, the tweet is quite long and not
optimized, it also doesn’t tell anything that users don’t already know. Since users
are aware of what a Twitter calendar is and what it comprises of, there’s no
point of including so much text that's likely to distract people from clicking
on the link.
Afterward, Wadlington changes the tweet to a more simplified form:
"Excited to reveal our 2020 calendar ????"
Wadlington has highlighted that expanding a tweet with a
space between lines also makes it “taller”, gives it a good presence and
defines the CTA well.
To make the CTA clear, Wadlington has included ‘download
now’ in the second sentence.
If your goal is to get more clicks, then you should always
remember to keep your tweets simple and as clear as possible.
