The bank sees developing economies like Indonesia, Turkey, Brazil, and Egypt all moving up the ladder–and by 2030, it estimates that seven of the world's top 10 GDP (PPP) economies will be located in emerging markets. To create some additional context, we compared these projections with the latest GDP (PPP) data for 2017 from the IMF. Also, if we compared these two data sets directly, we added potential percent change for each region.
