The number of Americans employed remotely rose by 159% between 2005 and 2017. By the beginning of 2020, there are over 4 million people working from home. Currently that COVID-19 is officially a pandemic and countries around the world are promoting social isolation and self-, there will be more people working from home than ever.
As more states require shelter-in-place measures to combat the outbreak, COVID-19 people have started working remotely out of necessity. For more than 4 million people working from home, the Internet helps all of us, with a few changes, to continue business as normal.
