Having lost to the New England Patriots in last year's AFC Conference Championship, this year the Kansas City Chiefs reached the Super Bowl-the first time since 1970. The upcoming Feb 2 game will be the third appearance of the Chiefs ' Super Bowl (and could be their second win). Although this is not much in contrast with other nations, it is not the worst result in history.
There are still four teams-the Cleveland Browns, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans-that have never reached a Super Bowl, and 13 other teams who only once or twice participated. The rivalry was only entered by Jacksonville and Houston in 1995 and 2002 respectively.
