The Mario Day was celebrated on Mar10 with several retailers
offering discounts on merchandise featuring the Nintendo’s mascot. The world’s
favorite toymaker, Lego has also announced its partnership with Nintendo’s
Mario.
On Tuesday, both the companies offered their fans a small
teaser on social media that hinted at the collaboration. As of yet, it’s still
unclear whether this partnership means that there will be Mario-themed Lego
figures in the market soon or Nintendo will release a video game that features
Lego-based Mario figures. However, the fans are ecstatic and can’t wait to see
the new offering by two of the most recognized companies in the world.
The Mario character by Nintendo is one of the most loved
personalities in the video game industry. One of its games ‘Super Mario Bros,’
starring Mario and his brother Luigi is considered one of the most successful
games of all time.
