Chalk paint is known for its smooth, soft finish. It almost seems as though the newly painted surface has a chalk dusting over it. Or that the chalk itself is painted. The paint itself is dense, easy to handle, and is built on latex. Which means cleaning up after a major paint job is easier too. One of the best things about chalk paint is it's going to stick to just about every surface with very little, if any, surface prep work done.
