Twitter has been beta testing some ‘conversational’ feature
updates since the last six months and has now released new ‘threaded’
conversation for iOS users, which clearly shows replies from people of any
tweet.
Twitter has been focusing on improving tweet engagement and
this new feature is a variation of its threaded replies that were showcased by
Twitter back in 2018.
You can see what the update looks like in the video posted
by Twitter.
We’ve given conversations a makeover on iOS. When people you follow are in a conversation, you’ll see their replies in a new way in your Home timeline.— Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) January 31, 2020

This update would allow users to properly see who is replying to their tweets and which accounts they are following are engaged in a conversation.
It is quite surprising to see that Twitter took so long to
release this update, given that it has been working on conversational features
for so long. But through testing, it has been checking to see what works and
what not to only releases improved features for its users, so the delay appears
to be worth it.
This update doesn’t seem to be huge, but it changes Twitter’s
look for the better making it more convenient for people to have conversations
with others.
According to Twitter, the new reply layout will be made
available to Android users soon.
