The Coronavirus epidemic is on the rise and the global media
is filled with news surrounding the latest health outbreak. Originating from
Wuhan, China – the illness is spreading at an alarming speed and has reached
over 24 countries. In fact, more than 300deaths have been reported worldwide from the illness, as of February 2,
2020.
In this regard, John Hopkins University published a map
on January 30, 2020, highlighting the locations with the number of confirmed coronavirus
cases. As we are all aware, China remains to be the focal point of the disease
with over 9,658 affected by the disease. Bordering countries such as the Philippines,
Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea have also confirmed cases of the Coronavirus
in their area.
Unfortunately, countries like the USA, France, and Australia are
also not free from the wrath of this deadly disease. While the USA and France have
reported 6 and 5 cases of the virus, Australia has confirmed nine cases.
