San Diego's best way to get around is by driving. San Diego has a convenient and affordable public transportation system, but the city is widespread and not all of it is covered by public transit. There are plenty of rentals for cars, such as taxis, Uber and Lyft. The Metropolitan Transit System of San Diego is made up of trolleys, MTS buses, and trains. Shuttle services are also available that provide a convenient way to get around the area.
