Chicago is a pretty big city, but it also boasts CTA (Chicago Transit Authority), the country's second largest public transit system. The CTA operates both train lines (popularly referred to as the' L') and bus routes. Then there's Metra Rail, the high-speed commuter train that connects downtown Chicago with the suburbs. And, while in Chicago, public transit should be able to get you wherever you need to go. Taxis, water taxis and ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also available.
