Ask any smartphone owner and they will agree that managing the
‘fast-draining’ battery of their phone is one of the most hassling tasks. This
is because the phones of today are equipped with the latest technologies. However,
when it comes to their power source, they are still running on an old-fashion module.
And of course, the time spent on the phones using the various installed apps
also squeezes out the battery – faster than anticipated.
Nevertheless, the smartphone makers are aware of the
problematic situation and try to remedy by using bigger batteries on their newest
models. The use of power banks and charging stations has also gained
popularity, allowing the users to resolve the issue anytime, anywhere.
Phone comparison website Phone Arena recently
conducted a market survey in this regard, where they found that the Asus ROG II
has the largest battery to-date with 6,000-milliampere hours. However, this
does not equate to a longer battery life, which is around 14 hours for the Asus
phone. According to Phone Arena, many factors such as resolution and display
size play a pivotal role in maintaining battery life.
Apple’s iPhone 11 recently made it to the list as well by
coming with a battery that is proven to last around 13 hours and 30 minutes. The
latest product in Apple’s lineup is equipped with a 3,110 mAh battery.
In their test, Phone Arena used a custom web script, similar
to our real-life use to determine the phone with the best battery life.
Motorola Moto G7 Power ranked in the first position with a battery that lives
for more than 20 hours. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and LGX Power secured the second and
third positions with a battery life of 17.5 and 15 hours respectively.
