Were you aware that the medication you take could go by a number of other names depending on where you live? In reality, a lot of the top-selling drugs can be sold in our Canadian pharmacy with a completely different name. Yet, why is that happening?
Brand name medicines can differ, depending on a number of factors, from country to country. Usually, they boil down to the regulatory body that is responsible for issuing licenses, the supplier and if there is another company that also has access to the patent, what the product is being sold for (for example, if it has different uses), and more. What's important is to know which medicine you're taking and its chemical / generic name derives from that.
