The year 2020 is just around the corner and similar to every
passing year – Americans are making one or many resolutions to follow in the
upcoming 12 months.
Ipsos for UrbanPlates conducted a survey in this regard and found that the majority of the
resolution makers want to adopt healthier eating habits and balance their
finances efficiently in the coming year.
Moreover, 38% of the respondents said that they wish to
improve their mental wellbeing and practice mindfulness while only 22% of the
participants acknowledged the need to be more eco-friendly – despite the significant
need to enhance environmental protection.
Interestingly, the majority of the survey participants
belonged to Hispanic ethnicity. In fact, 56% of respondents from the group said
that they were making more than one resolution for the year 2020.
Other common resolutions amongst the surveyed individuals
were to learn a new skill, enhance social connections, and be more active.
